Mortgage drawdowns by FTB hit highest
level since 2008
Mortgage drawdowns by first-time
buyers are at the highest level since
2008, according to the mortgage
drawdowns figures released by the
Banking and Payment Federation
Ireland.
A total of 14,217 mortgages to the
value of almost €4.6 billion were
drawn down by borrowers in the months
of July, August and September.
This is a 13% increase in volume
