Tom Cruise to receive top American
Film Institute honour
Tom Cruise, known for films from Risky
Business to Top Gun, will receive the
American Film Institute's Life
Achievement Award at a Hollywood
ceremony in April, organisers have
said.
The AFI, a non-profit dedicated to
preserving and promoting films, has
bestowed the honour annually since
1973.
