Crash safety body criticises
over-reliance on new car screens
The European car crash testing body,
EuroNCAP, has incorporated driver
distraction - caused by too many
functions being controlled through
screens and voice programmes rather
than physical buttons - into its
safety ratings.
It has released details of its latest
tests of three cars - the Audi Q7, the
Kia EV 2 and the EXPENG X9 - and says
its 2026 testing programme has so far
